The Weld County Diaper Bank is to ensure that all families in Weld County have a sufficient supply of diapers to keep their children clean, dry, and healthy. The Family support staff provides diapers on a monthly basis to partner agencies, while also increasing public awareness of diaper need.

Break Time Respite Program

Group respite program provided 2 x month for children 0-21 years of age with special needs and their siblings. Sessions provide one-on-one volunteer for each child participating and are supported by a Behavior Specialist and Nurse to support children of all needs.

Physician and Community Outreach

Education of pediatrician and family practice offices on standardized developmental screening for children 0-5 and referral resources within the community.

Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation

Consultation to Early Care and Learning sites and families to support the social emotional development of children 0-8 years of age, provide positive supports for managing challenging behaviors, and decrease the incidence of expulsion and suspension.

Early Intervention

Early Intervention services under Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act for children 0-3 years of age with special needs and their families. Services are delivered through a coaching model in natural environments to build the capacity of caregivers to support a child’s special needs and to enhance a child’s developmental trajectory.
