In 2015, Early Learning Ventures (ELV) received a federal Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership (EHS-CCP) grant, which enabled ELV to provide comprehensive services to 240 children under three years old by partnering with 32 child care providers across four counties in Colorado. After just one year of EHS-CCP implementation, providers partnering with ELV experienced stronger business practices, stronger relationships with community agencies, more meaningful family engagement opportunities, and increases in staff capacity through high-quality professional development. These changes are likely the reason behind the improvements in classroom quality and high ratings of parent satisfaction.
