The Vision of the Early Childhood Council of the San Luis Valley is that “All children in the San Luis Valley are fully prepared to succeed in school and life.” And our Mission is to be the hub for early childhood efforts in the region, as the trusted, centralized resource for families, professionals, programs and organizations.
Organization Description
The Early Childhood Council of the San Luis Valley (ECC SLV) is a nonprofit organization that began as one of the 18 child care pilot projects in 2000. Our service area covers 6 counties, 18 communities and 45 licensed child care providers over 8,000 square miles. We currently employee 25 individuals and manage 15 funding sources in the the domain areas of family support & education, health & well-being and early learning & development.
