In order to make a substantive impact on large social problems, like school readiness, we work to bring together a diverse group of committed organizations in Boulder County to act in a mutually reinforcing way to impact a common goal. To that end, ECCBC acts as the backbone organization for the Boulder County Early Childhood Collective Impact Collaboration. The charge to this group is multi-fold:
-Act as technical early childhood experts to the ECCBC Board and community organizations in Boulder County who are interested in the early childhood space (birth – 5)
-Keep the Early Childhood Framework of Boulder County up to date with current best practices
-Oversee the publication of the ECCBC Indicators Report to the Community

Through this collaboration, the mission of ECCBC is to bring together our partnering child-serving agencies in order to ensure coordinated, efficient, family-friendly programs and services targeted to ensure that young children arrive at school: healthy, well-adjusted and having been exposed to the fundamentals of learning. The ECCBC Framework for Boulder County is a common tool used by many agencies and policy makers across Boulder County.

Additionally, in partnership with Boulder County Health and Human Services, ECCBC serves on the BCDHHS Family Resource Network Regional Council where local systems building initiatives focused on two generation approaches support families within our community reach success and self-sufficiency.
