The Validation Project

The CMA Validation Project is one answer to the question “What is Montessori?” By determining baseline, threshold components for participating Montessori schools, CMA has established a Validating Organization to assure state agencies, policy makers, funders, and most importantly, families that the Montessori schools in Colorado have a measure of quality they can trust.

Early Education Classrooms

Denver Public Schools provides quality preschool classrooms in 91 schools across the city of Denver with programming in English and Spanish. We serve approximately 1,200 three year olds (900 students attend 1/2 day, 600 students attend full day), and 3,600 four year olds (200 students attend 1/2 day, 3,200 students attend full day).

Connections 4 Kids offers the program “Christmas 4 Kids” to families of young children in Moffat County. Break Time Respite Program

Group respite program provided 2 x month for children 0-21 years of age with special needs and their siblings. Sessions provide one-on-one volunteer for each child participating and are supported by a Behavior Specialist and Nurse to support children of all needs.

Physician and Community Outreach

Education of pediatrician and family practice offices on standardized developmental screening for children 0-5 and referral resources within the community.

Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation

Consultation to Early Care and Learning sites and families to support the social emotional development of children 0-8 years of age, provide positive supports for managing challenging behaviors, and decrease the incidence of expulsion and suspension.
