Description:

Qualistar develops engaging trainings tailored to adult learning styles to help early childhood professionals improve their practice. Qualistar offers online and face-to-face trainings to providers across the state. Many of our trainings can be offered upon request, which means we can bring early childhood education training directly to educators at a time and location that is convenient. Qualistar trainings are approved by the Colorado Department of Education and allow participants to earn training hours toward the annual licensing requirement of 15 hours of ongoing professional development. On average, Qualistar trains nearly 3,500 professionals a year.

Training Categories include:
Health, Safety, & Nutrition
Teaching Practices
Child Growth, Development, & Learning
Program Planning & Development
Child Care Health Consultant Skills & Strategy

Through our symposium models we continue to activate our partnerships with community organizations to offer training and resources to early childhood professionals. Qualistar has partnered with the Denver Art Museum, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Denver Public Library, RAFT, and Swallow Hill to host symposia on a range of topics from science to art and literature. On average, our symposia host 55 participants from across the state.
