Description:

Our education programs include the two day Beginning Rhythms classes. Section I focuses on Establishing Early Feeding and Sleep Routines and is intended for those providing in-home nursing and visitations, childcare providers, WIC staff. Section II focuses on Supporting Premature and Medically Complex Infants and Their Families. Other courses include the Parent-Child Interaction Feeding and Teaching Assessment Scales that provide valid and reliable assessments of parent-child interactions that guide strengths based strategies to support positive parent-child relationships. We also offer an annual one day conference or the the bi-annual Interdisciplinary Institute that offers healthcare and early education providers the opportunity to network and hear from both local and nationally know speakers in the field of early infant and child development. The quarterly NICU Consortium Education Programs/Webinars focus on the unique needs of infants and young children birth to three who were born prematurely or with special healthcare needs.
