Description:

Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment works with Early Childhood Council, childcare centers, and family homes (including Family Friends (FFN) and Neighbors and Providers Advancing School Outcomes (PASO) providers to implement best practices for preventing early childhood obesity and the development of healthy habits early in life. Strategies include training child care providers to implement policies for improving the quality and quantity of physical activity, breastfeeding support, and parent engagement.
