Description:

The Early Childhood Council of Boulder County sponsors the Child Care Resource and Referral program for Boulder county, the “CCR&R at the Council.” The CCR&R supports the licensed child care community by offering pre-licensing trainings, bi-monthly newsletters, access to Emergency Preparedness training for child care providers, access to health and safety trainings required by licensing and the facilitation of a Provider Services Coordination Group comprised of local early childhood agency partners that work collaboratively to support individual child care centers and family child care homes. Working in partnership with Colorado Shines Child Care Referral at Mile High United Way 211, the CCR&R ensures that families find the care they need within the county. The CCR&R also provides support and resources to the community when providers close (permanently or temporarily, such as during a natural disaster) in order to facilitate a smooth transition for families.
